Why Is Kratom So Popular?

Should You Take Kratom Before Work?

The question itself is one that obviously has multiple answers, and the answers themselves change depending on your needs and expectations. Should you take Kratom before work? If you want to gain a lasting bout of energy before work, the answer is maybe. If you want to replace coffee as your morning ritual drink with Kratom, the answer is maybe, but probably not. If you want to relax on your way to work on what is supposed to be a particularly stressful day, the answer is yeah, definitely (maybe.)

When it comes to gaining energy, Kratom actually originated as a common-place herb thanks to its stimulative properties. In south-east Asia, where the Kratom tree is native to, farm workers would very commonly ingest raw Kratom leaves to give their most likely tired bodies a helping hand of energy. In fact, it is said that the farm owners would actually distribute the leaves themselves since they showed a workforce with a markedly higher rate of production with it.

Knowing this, it makes perfect sense to show interest in taking Kratom before work. There are only a few variables that need to be taken into considerations for the purposes of energy. First, make sure to get the right strain of Kratom. Red Kratom, while extremely popular, is going to be give a more calming effect than white or green Kratom, and if the dosage is too high (roughly, above 2grams) that effect is only going to be more pronounced.

Instead, opt for Green or White Kratom strains. These strains are less aged and, subsequently, contain more less 7-OH in their genetic makeup, which means less down and more up. White Kratom is the most energizing, and will be great for someone who uses their hands often. Green Kratom, while still energizing, will add a calm effect to its repertoire that’s perfect for someone who needs to think quick, but doesn’t actually have to lift heavy or move about too much. Where energy and socializing is of import, Green Kratom is ideal.

And to reiterate, dosages matter. The higher the dosage, the more 7-OH one will ingest with their Kratom, and thus, the more relaxed they’ll feel. For the purposes of gaining energy in the morning before work, White or Green Kratom below 2 grams will do just perfectly. New users can even take as little as 100milligrams and still experience the effect.

In the realm of coffee replacement, it’s interesting enough to note that Kratom and Coffee actually come from the same family of trees. It makes perfect sense, since the effects of coffee and Kratom are fairly similar. That said, replacing your daily coffee with Kratom comes with some pretty big considerations that need to be taken seriously. First, where coffee and Kratom are both relatively safe for long-term ingestion, Kratom does feature a more pronounced habit forming attribute.

For people who aren’t able to properly dose their daily intake or for people who have a history of substance abuse, replacing coffee with Kratom outright is absolutely not advised, nor will it lead to a magically improved morning routine where coffee was previously present. That is, Kratom isn’t a miracle herb that can improve someone’s morning to the point of a life changing experience. When used properly, it can be simply thought of as a more versatile coffee.

For people who don’t suffer from either of those problems, yes, Kratom can absolutely be replaced with daily coffee intake, so long as the dosage and strain rules listed above are followed.

Lastly, for people who need to be extra sociable and energetic at work, Red Kratom might be the key. We’ve gone over it already, but Red Kratom does contain a higher ratio of 7-OH to other alkaloids compared to other Kratom strains that aren’t outright 7-OH products. (Speaking of which, we got you covered.)

It’s important to always remember the golden rules about Kratom, keep the dosages under 2G for energy (and under 1G for newbies) and 5G for relaxation. Green and White Kratom strains for the former, Red Kratom Strains for the latter. So long as you have your self control under control and you follow those simple guidelines, you can’t go wrong taking Kratom before work.
