The Kratom vendors both offer reasonable pricing and a width of shipping, so the differences come in the nature of the product (and their packaging) along with some more niche aspects of what they offer in their products.
Real Botanicals
Real Botanicals is a Kratom vendor that has made its name through the tried and true sale of very specific products. Where other vendors tend to spam their product listings with a wide array of strains, both natural and lab created, Real Botanicals keeps things very simple; They have capsules of Kratom, Shots of Kratom and Kava.
For more experienced users, Real Botanicals offers their 7-Hydro tablets or a 7-OH shot with pure 7-Hydroxymitragynine, a purified Kratom Alkaloid for a more precise experience. In total that means Real Botanicals is a vendor a user can go to for either the simple Kratom experience or a more refined tablet and shot experience after some time has been spent with the herb. Where Real Botanicals often sets itself apart aside from their non-convoluted offerings is that they offer up their third-party lab test results on product listings. Where other vendors often say they have great lab tests, they don’t often list the lab tests themselves or, at the very least, they make them rather difficult to find. For this reason, Real Botanicals acts as a sort of “what you see is exactly what you get” kind of vendor. AKA, very hard to go wrong with.
Nova Kratom
Where Real Botanicals does a few things very well, Nova Kratom spreads its offerings out over a wide array of strains, both naturally occurring and lab created. The vendor sports white, red, yellow, and green strains as its primary four, with a more niche selection of custom strains listed alongside them. And in a comparison between Real Botanicals vs. Nova Kratom, as discussed above, the differences in niche aspects of the products as well as their associated “focus” begin to show themselves.
For more experienced users who want to experiment, Nova Kratom acts as a fairly reasonable vendor thanks to its width of options. The product options come in either powder or capsule form. Unforunately, Nova Kratom does not include a liquid or shot option, which also means, of course, they don’t have anything that matches Real Botanicals’ Kava shots, either.
Something that’s worth mentioning is lab testing: Where Real Botanicals shows their third-party lab tested results on product descriptions, Nova Kratom does not. Despite claiming that their product are lab tested (which is almost certainly true) there doesn’t seem to be any verification available for customers to see for themselves. In this regard, Real Botanicals is more transparent with their product quality, although given the popularity of the two vendors, it would hardly fair to say that Nova Kratom’s reputation as a reputable seller could ever be in doubt.
Lastly, Nova Kratom should be given some credit for their mix n’ match options. Admittedly, this option is a tad more expensive that the standard products, but being able to mix different strains together is probably going to be a plus for some experienced users who already know that they want to use four different strains for various reasons.
Where product simplicity is concerned, Real Botanicals proves itself to be a strong contender for new and experienced users alike with it’s straightforward lineup of products in pill, capsule, and shot form. Their shots, in particular, are unique in that they are combined with Kava for an enhanced relaxation effect on the user. The fact that their products all have lab test results on their description page is an extra plus.
Nova Kratom, for users who prefer straight powdered Kratom, is going to be akin to a candy store thanks to its width of selections. For experienced users, the added complexity and breadth of their product lineup will give ample opportunities to shake things up. Although, for newer users, the choice selection may prove to be a little overwhelming, and could lead to an unfortunate experience with a particular strain that newer users aren’t going to be privy to.
